anywhere else. I don't want any other zip codes... I don't have the transportation to go and come and I need somewhere close to where I live - I need to complete 10 hours which might take me a few days.

I tired volunteermatch.org - but I couldn't find any in exactly my zip code - they're all these other zip codes 5-20 miles away.

HELP!!! I want to do this and get it over with on Christmas break, which I just started today because I don't celebrate Christmas and this is the perfect time - I'm super busy with HW on school days. My credit hours are due on March 23, 2006 btw.

THANK YOU ALL!

you can be a mentor

2) check out your homeless shelters...they always need help with serving food and whatnot. And i'm sure they'll need tons of help preparing a christmas meal, and since you won't be busy it's perfect!

3) You can volunteer at your local animal shelter

4) you could tutor kids for free

5)volunteer at your local retirement/elderly home. Old people are so interesting, you'll probably have a few friends once you leave!

That's the spirit. Don't go far out of your way and get that volunteering crap over with as soon as you can. What does NHS stand for anyway?
