It seems to me not many people are aware there is a difference so I wanted to poll to see if others know it or not.

I just asked because someone posted a question about why Vanessa Williams was stripped of her crown and Terra whatever her name was not. It seemed there were people who didn't know they were different.

Yes, I knew and thank you for posting this. There is a difference and people need to stop being rude. Santa's Favorite APBT was only clearing this up for people.

Miss USA is in the Miss universe pageant.
Miss America is the United States only.

Yup, I knew that too. All beauty pageants are put under one umbrella though. Most people really don't care that they are different.

Yes I knew that.......she was the first Black Ms America.....I think it was 1982
