Since it's for a co-worker, I'd keep it not TOO personal. What about something for her desk (if she works at a desk)? Maybe a pretty notepad? Desk calendar? If it's not a desk job, how about a pretty picture frame? An ornament from Hallmark? Bring her breakfast in a bag...muffins from a bakery, banana, yogurt, and a juice.
No, not rude. You can't buy for everyone!

Hi! I would suggest getting her a gift card for a cinema or maybe just taking her to her favorite restaurant? And i don't think it is rude just buying for one person you work with and not the others...people know how expensive christmas can be if you have to buy for everyone you work with as well as your own family and or friends too! yeah just don't give the gift to the woman in front of the others?
I hope this helps you :) Merry Christmas x

A nice card with a gift card to the local mall would be nice, that way she could go and get what she likes and not feel like it has to be from WalMart. This way, there may possibly be something she has had her "eye" on and with the gift card she might be able to get it without putting a burden on herself with the little extra"help" especially since a lot of the stores will be having Sales after Christmas. Who knows......maybe this will get you a date for New Year's Eve :) I do NOT think it is rude to get her something and nobody else at work, that is YOUR choice,it is YOUR money NOT theirs. Merry Christmas

Rather than a gift card to wal mart, you might get her a gift card to a nice restaurant.
If you are only buying for her at work, just don't make a big deal about it so that others won't get their feelings hurt.
Peace

If you want to get her something because you like her, I wouldn't get her a gift card. Maybe some soft-scented lotions or even a box of chocolates or a candle. I know any gift will be appreciated since it is the thought that counts, and speaking from a woman's point of view, I would rather receive a gift that I know was selected especially for me.

It's not rude to buy her something and nobody else. It's rude if they react badly though. Buy her a gift card and a small box of chocolates. That's appropriate enough. But don't add flowers or she'll think you want to get romantic.

Yes a gift card at walmart is very nice that way you can just put it in a christmas card and that way no one knows you gave her a gift cuz it will fight right into her purse. easy to hide.. so that would be nice gift cards

Instead of getting confuse like that, why don't you just try to help unlucky ones out there? Do some charity on Christmas... rather than to get hardly confuse with yourself for making the girl at work happy(?!!)
Why don't you just try to help poor people and unlucky ones out there? There are so many unhappy people out there. There are so many people who are not as lucky as you. There are so many people who suffer and miserable out there... There are so many people who are unhappy on Christmas days.
Why don't you just try to help or do something useful for them?
Like I do.

Treat her to lunch at a cafe/diner/restaurant of her choosing. That way, she is getting a gift-of-sorts and you won't feel awkward about not giving a gift to other coworkers.

If you are not sure as to how she feels, you may just want to get her a nice card and say something nice inside... that way if she is not interested she won't feel like you are a psycho-stalker or anything.... then, based on her response ????????!?????????
you never know....
