I still have mine. It just sits in my jewelry box taking up space. I have his wedding ring too. I never thought about what to do with them. They'll just collect dust untill I die. Then my family can figure out what to do with them.

If you have a sibbling save it for them when they are of an accountable age. If not, don't sweat it, it will soon be a material item after you have the old you back! Good luck its tough but you will get through it.

Well........mine is still setting in a jewelry case in my dresser drawer.......perhaps I'll pawn it someday........ along with my $3000 diamond stud earrings(also collecting dust in my dresser drawer) my ex gave to me one Christmas as a guilt gift for his affairs........hmmmm......What does one do with an old wedding ring? Interesting question............

Two options as I see it -
1. Keep it for your daughter, if you have one.

2. Sell the sucker, buy yourself some new things and forget about the rotten bastard (if you're divorced and he was a rotten bastard)

Been there; done that.

Find a reputable pawn shop and go buy a new setting and have the diamonds put in a new setting and wear it....you've earned them!

if you're divorced, give it to a homeless person- it'll get 'em some comforts food etc...If your partner has died, save it for your children....If no children, give it to a homeless person.....or cash convert and donate the cash.
When my husband got divorced, he left all the jewellery she'd given him, on the sidewalk. Someone got lucky.

I don't know... I plan on giving mine to my daughter when she is older. But it would depend on if you had someone to pass it on to.

If you don't, you might think about melting it down and making something new out of it. Just a thought...
