A lot of answers seem to say study and memorize. I don't think that is exactly on point. The real key is to do a lot of problems. Your textbook should have a lot of example problems for each section. Even if the teacher only assigns a few do ALL of them and do at least some daily. Working the problems is a lot more effective than just memorizing the rules.
I have also found that working one or two just before bedtime and then repeating them over and over in my head just before falling asleep will often times allow "lucid dreaming" in which I will dream of problems all night and solve them in my head.

Yes it is hard, along with physics, and of all things biology. I was a senior and never took a book home but when I was in class I never missed a word that the teacher said. She said that she will not utter a word in class that will not be added to a test. In other words if you can get your mind right, and listen to her words, there will be no problem. There were more people that failed biology than english. I have not mastered english too this day. See what I mean....

Geometry for me was easier than algebra. But it could be that I had the best teacher, in any course, that I've ever had. I just took a lot of notes and wrote down all the examples.

No! it is easy. The key to success is to memorize the formulas. The more problems you do the easier it becomes. Just like any other sport. The more you shot basketballs, the more you will make. If you throw more baseballs, you will gain control and throw more strikes. Enjoy learn and you will find that everything is easy.

The key to mastering math is to be able to memorize things-formula's, equations-etc. for some it's extremely hard to accept a formula without it being explained why. with math there is, generally, no why-you must simple accept that it is.

Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus... All these are difficult subjects if you are not taught well enough by your professors. But the main responsibility is yours. You need to STUDY. No lesson is difficult if you spend your time and your best effort on them.

Like Mr. Spock always said "Logic" is the answer. In math, everything has an answer if you use logic and plan it out, just ask Einstein.

its intermediate you have to learn it in pre-cal and cal. I guess practice the problems, read the exercises and examples, read over your notes, try to do some extra problems, and look over at the formulas.

No. Just pay attention. If that doesn't work, go to tutoring. Keep paying attention. Maybe practice more.
