I don't think if a cars engine is really gone, anything less than Rs.25000 will not fix it..
I you want to get a new one, then go for it..
But if want to continue with this car, then go for the repair with a Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer.. They will charge you something between Rs. 25000-30000, but they will make your car perfectly fit for another atleast 5-8 years.. They will almost replace the engine of your car.. Mind it almost, not complete...
My advice don't trust any local mechanic for such a crucial decision..

That's a decision you must make. I would consider the following-what is the car worth?-what shape is the car in?-will replacing the engine put the car back in top shape?-what would it cost to get a car in good shape?-what can you afford to do?
make a list of the above answers and make your decision based on the results.

Where the heck do you live. I love cars, but have never heard of that. If it was any brand we have here in America I would say get rid of it. If the engine went that just means that lots of other things are ontheir way out and will need to be replaced soon.

if u can afford to buy a new car them go for it ,,suppose u spend 10000 on your carand still u get the same problem then it a waste of money that u could have spend to buy a new caqr..
