ok believe me, I personal a extra recent (mid 2007) 24" iMac and at present i'm posting from my different mac, the Black MacBook. The pc is an amazingly skinny extremely efficient, functional, and prevalent relaxing pc, and likewise that is a lot extra low-fee than the MacBook professional or the absurdly overpriced macBook Air. It nonetheless has some contact controls, it comes with a mic and iSight implanted so nicely that you may't even see them once you've the black one, the keyboard (I write a lot of novels and such) is the most relaxing and joyous keyboard ever, it feels fantastic at the same time as utilizing it, and the layout is so user-friendly you don't love different laptops get a buh of stressful keys and unusual controls, you get a huge trackpad, an person-friendly layout, and likewise with the flexibility, i will inform you that, for instance, i exploit Adobe CS3 and the MacBook is so quickly at the same time as utilizing it, that is a excitement like numerous macs to artwork on. Plus you also get iLife, and at the same time as buying from an apple shop you get a ton of concepts, in case you want the apple care plan, iWork, workplace, and so on. The pc interior the right is an absolute delight to apply, and also you get a lot extra on your money then a pc.

Ask yourself if you really need excel. If you only use single page spreadsheets, then you can probably get by with MS Works which is much cheaper and usually comes bundled with Windows. Works is a combination of a word processor, spreadsheet, database, calendar, and address book all in one program. For brand names, I like HP/Compaq and Dell. You can put a little more into the system if you don't have to buy the more expensive software.
