If you are not Jewish, it is easier, according to Torah, for you to achieve salvation than if you became Jewish.
Jews must observe 613 commandments, while non-Jews must observe seven.

well what about all the positives.
look how Jews have contributed to society. 22% of noble prize winners are Jewish. Considering that we are less than .2% of the worlds population that is incredible.
and look even after all those persecutions we are still around. See how many empires have come and gone in the last 3,500 years. Yet we are still around. You are part of an invincible people. Ones that are not subject to the laws of History.
That is something to be proud of.

Some of the negative stereotypes are considered positive as well, such as Jews being 'rich' or 'good with number or money'. Truthfully, though, these characteristics are not across the board or true. I know plenty of 'Jews' who suck at math and money management and plenty that do not, and never did, have money. Many people who call themselves Jews are only Jews by heritage or 'race' and do not actually practice the religion except for the 'essential' holidays. There are many converts that are previous Jews and many non-Jews that have converted to Judaism. Racially, there are no characteristics that make any race better or worse (every race has anomalies). Culturally Jews are very family based, very loyal but also known for holding a grudge (eye for an eye).

Jesus is Jewish. his deciples were Jewish. He teaches Judaism with him as the Messiah, as did his Deciples.
The Dietary laws are healthier. The Sabbath is a awesome day off. The feasts are really cool.
Hebrew is fun to speak.
And, Jesus even said that the cost of following him was to be hated by many.
Many Jews hate him because the majority of Christianity teaches that He is both Messiah and by his actions, the Anti-Messiah by their interpretaitn of what they believe to be anti-Torah teaching. The Messiah that established the Torah would not teach against it's observance, and Jesus didn't ( Matthew 5:17-19, fulfill does not mean abolish). Christians Don't like the Torah so, yeah...

Well, what's so bad about it? All Faiths have had their ups & downs. Christians used to be the snack of choice for lions; Wiccans used to be burned at the stake for entertainment; Muslems have been condemned as "terrorists"- & worse... Why, even Atheists- who supposedly don't believe in anything- are continually looked down upon as something less than "Kosher" by the religious world at large... The moral of the story IS; if you have to be SOMETHING, Jewish is probably as good as it gets.

This is an interesting and thought provoking question that may elicit thoughtful answers, sarcastic answers, ill informed answers or just silly answers. This question could also be reported to Yahoo for abuse. The Yahoo censors are at work in China and they are testing the waters here with their "Report Abuse" button. Stifle dissent.

one of the real advantages of being jewish is that you're circumcised at birth or shortly thereafter. Statistics prove that circumcision cuts the risk of contracting aids by 60%. But wrap that rascal anyway folks, cuz theres still a 40% chance.
