I'd say learn correct grammer before you teach anyone!

Perhaps your question should read 'How to teach spoken English with impact?'

Well, the best way to teach English (as a second language) properly would be to get your student(s) to read a lot. It is a proven fact that reading helps improve a language through vocabulary building and it also helps one with semantics. Another way to improve spoken English would be to practice it as often as possible. Immersion of a student into an environment surrounded by the language he/she is trying to learn would also serve the purpose. Hope this helps.

I totally agree with "Waundering"! You have to learn to speak and write correctly yourself before you can expect to teach students to do so!
