I'm struggling to figure out what to get my best friend. He is an awesome friend and I want to get him something he'd enjoy, the thing is he won't tell me what he wants because he basically has everything. He's an older gentlemen if that helps with figuring out gift ideas, but any help would be appreciated. Remember though, I am on a budget.

Its best to make him something. Why dont you pick up one of those shadow boxes from an art store or framers. You can take a few special items and pictures and arrange them in these shadow boxes and he can hang it on his wall.

I agree that something you make yourself is the best. For my besty over the years I have given her sketches, paintings, a handmade photo album with pics of us plastered over the front.
Hit your local craft store, even if you're not creatively inclined they have heaps of do it yourself kits, if you cant draw or paint just use a photo of the two of you or them with their family to make it personal.
