I don't. In 1984, Vanessa Williams had her crown taken away for nude photos in Penthouse. Tara Conner was doing coke, alcohol, and her roommate Miss Teen USA. Am I wrong here? What's your opinion?

Vanessa Williams lost her crown for pictures that were taken long before she participated in the pageant, and the pictures were published without her permission. Tara Conner and Miss Teen USA both signed agreements to uphold a certain standard of conduct when they each won their crowns, and they both knowingly and willingly violated those standards. I'm fairly certain that Tara Conner kept her crown because Donald Trump is shopping for wife #4.

Vanessa Williams was Miss America, there IS a difference. I don't believe that Tara Conner deserves to keep her crown, but the MS. USA pagent is far from the Miss America. It by far has different standards of behavior.
I also believe that Tara's tears and all were just a performance on Tuesday.

vanessa williams took those photos a couple of years before she was miss usa. the photographer took advantage of her fame and sold them to penthouse. tara conner may have been twenty at the time those photos of her drinking were taken, but if i remember correctly she just turned twenty-one a few days ago. so it's fair that the donald is giving her a second chance. she's also from a small country town in kentucky, so she may have gotten caught up in the glitz and glam of the city. lay off of her and donald's decision. donald has enough money to help her and if that's what he's doing let him do what he wants.

NO she does not deserve the crown...if she was a "true" Miss USA, she would step down and let the runner up take over. If she can't use the right judgment and make the right choices for 1 year, what kind of role model is she?

I think she deserved it at the time she won it. She knew the rules and she broke them. Therefore, she should have the title taken away from her. No second chance for tarnishing the Miss USA title the way she has done. She is a disgrace to the crown.

I think she deserves a second chance. Everyone does. She isnt aloud to drink or dance because she is a role model. That is a tight condititon. Tara should not have her crown taken away!

the whole USA pageant thing is just so...ughhh! Hated it when I was a child ...still hate it. One does not have to be pure to be pretty as they say you must. The good girl role has been long gone out the window, they need to give it up.

if her acting is taken into account ........... DEFINITELY NO .......... I haven't seem a worse performance than that CRYING WITH NO TEARS at the press conference, even my six years old niece could have done better ........... HONESTLY .......... how many American fell for that
