I'm confused. He delivers private property to good boys and girls. But he doesn't charge money. He rewards everyone, whether or not they are productive. He delivers TO each according to their needs, but expects nothing FROM them...

- Well, he is not a capitalist, because he does not charge money.
- He is not a socialist, because his shop is not owned by the "state".
- He is not a communist, because his shop and facilities are not run as a commune, and there is no indication that his workers receive any compensation, healthcare or any other necessary services.
- That leaves dictatorship, as his underlings jump to do whatever he asks, he makes exorbident claims about his abilities, wears a uniform, has a beard, and places his workers in facilities that are so isolated and desolate that they could not hope to escape to a better life.

Saint Nicolas Claus also known as Santa Claus, is one of the great who has very little of distinction known from all sides of economies i.e. socialist, capitalist, communist.

To add to the answers above;
He makes Human Resources productive by simply cherishing the minds of the little ones, who deserve a lot of motivating. This in the long-run would create a great resource to the nation that would enhance the economy of the nation as a result. So the cost of motivating generations would be of little need.

Clad in Red he symbolizes a socialistic economy. However, he is not a fully socialistic person, although, he does work for welfare i.e. serve the world.

Finally according to all remarks, it is possible to derive at the solution that he runs a state with mixed economies.

I believe that Santa is none of those things. He delivers things to people whether they are productive or not because he has kindness and charity in his heart, he does not charge because he dosen't need the money. In his heart every boy and girl, small or grown up need some Christmas spirit in their heart at this time of year. I believe we should all take a lesson from Santa and be giving at Christmas time and expect nothing back in return.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!

Capitalist.

Having taken these matters into his own hands, as a capable and concerned citizen and not going to the government to assist with handouts.

He is buying something from a capitalistic system, he gives and feels the joy of charity and giving. Just like all capitalists are asked to give to charity.
