13 going on 30, Freaky Friday, RV.. I guess it depends on the 12 year old, but those might do it.

Try Mean Girls...it's pretty funny, although the message it gives is kind of mixed, and maybe not the best. They had it on TV a week ago.
Freaky Friday is also funny, and there's always Disney ones; Cars, anything with Hilary Duff, High School Musical (I haven't seen it, but apparently it's extremely popular with the preteen crowd).
