You aren't supposed to bleed when you ovulate. Ovulation is simply the release of a mature egg cell from the ovary to the fallopian tube where it sits and waits to be fertilized for up to 24 hours, if not then it degrades and is released from the body. Your basal body temperature will rise and you may have a gooey white discharge but there shouldn't be any bleeding. You should definitely see a doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

It's not normal to bleed but when you ovulate your discharge can change. Some women can just have more of it or it could turn a slighty yellowish brownish color. It shouldn't be very dark though. That's probablly all it is. If you bleed though you may want to talk to your doctor about it.

It is not a normal occurrence but it does happen and you shouldn't worry there is nothing wrong.
Just a FYI
I have only had that happen once (I went straight to the doctor, it freaked me out) but I did not have my period in two weeks because I got pregnant instead.

You might get a little spotting here and there, but there shouldn't be full on bleeding, like a period. Cramps are totally normal though.

yes it could be normal. Could you be pregnant? That can make you bleed around ovulation time too.

Yes, for some of us, that is normal. Still, go to your gynecologist and be sure nothing else is going on. It could possibly be a sign of an ovarian cyst.

You're not supposed to bleed. Though, you do have cramps. It may be nothing. Watch it for a while and see if it keeps happening.
