I have an old jewelry box it is made of a gold metal and sometype of pearlized plastic with burgundy velvet, can anyone tell me how much is worth or where i can get answers without having to pay someone, here is the thing, I don't want to pay if is not worth much, how can i find out?

Check out ebay. Do an advanced search under completed items.
If you can take a decent photo and email me, I'll tell you if it's worth bothering.

Ebay also has discussion boards where people can post photos of items for others to analyze. Some of the posters are very knowledgable. Here is a link to the boards:
