The others had good info for you, but most unemployment offices are now closed, so use the local One Stop for professional resume help. Or you could go to www.rileyguide.com, or www.wetfeet.com, or www.eresumewriting.com, www.provenresumes.com,www.rockportinstitute.com/resumes.html, or www.resume-place.com Any of them should be able to help you. Definately include a cover letter and don't forget the Thank You card! Good luck!!

well here are some tips,
dont make it any longer then2 pages long or else the person reading it will get board.
Make sure you add all your skills and eduction and job experience.
at the start I would list your personal details like name,address,d.o.b, phone numbers, then your education and qaulifications and then your job history, then a small paragraph on your hobbies and then your refences.
also add a cover letter with the resume, if your really good at english and a confident writter, then write a cover letter in third person, its different and it will really get there attention.
when handing your resume in purchase a one selve clear folder, light to hold,
and last but most important, get someone else to check over it and proof read it, Its amazing how many people send in a resume with spelling errors, does not look good at all.
