It all depends on what you want to do with your computer.
But i would definatley reccomend upgrading the RAM 1gb is rapidly becoming the norm.

The question really is what are looking to do with your computer. If you are looking to game on it you would be best off first getting a good graphic card, Nvidia GeForce gen. 6000 or higher would be something to consider. Then if you have money left over you should look to buying more RAM(you really need it). If you are to use it for Video editing or basically any movie making programs you are going to want to upgrade its RAM to at least 1GHz if possible. If you are going to use it for music or massive downloads you are going to want to get a bigger hard drive at least 100Gig. And as always check your computer manuals to make sure it can hold everything you are considering.
Hope this helps.

Definately increase the RAM. Make sure you get the good kind not the bad kind, ask someone that might know what they're talking about at the place you buy it. Like gaming? Get the ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 512MB GRAPHICS CARD. That's the ultimate upgrade. And make sure all of this is compatible for your computer's motherboard!

Ram is the cheapest in terms of cost for result. check the mobo specs to see if a faster cpu can be put in, also if you are a gamer a newer video card can breath new life into the frame rates of your games.

check the motherboard's manual, to see the highest processor it will accept. Buy a new one and sell the old. Some shops exchange the old with a newer one and provide some discount on the new processor.
also go for higher RAM.
