I know this is not necessarily,but how did this get started? Also,it usually happens only in your own home. My son gets extra gifts on Christmas, not only that it's also his birthday but me and my husband give each other, actually, us 3 get extra gifts on Christmas!!! Everyone else gets a present, not stocking stuffers. Hee hee

You definitely don't need stocking stuffers - or gifts for that matter - to have a great Christmas. To each his/her own. :)
