I just found the receipt for the gift my bf bought for his dad, 59.95 for the gift, $40! for Next Day Air shipping! He could have gotten the gift at the mall, but hates to go to the mall. I would have gone to the mall FOR HIM, but he didn't ask! I really feel like strangling him when he gets home...

It isn't necessarily that he spent money, it's that he would spend almost as much as the gift costs to have it shipped instead of getting off his rear to go get it.

yeah, My bf does the same thing. He spends extra on things that he doesn't need to do, and he really should be saving his money

Did he spend $40 that you earned? If not; I don't see why you have anything to say about it at all. If you don't like the way he spends his money, make sure you get him to sign a prenup before getting married. If you are not even in that serious a relationship, you don't have anything to say about it.

GIRL! Men does things that makes NO DAMN SENSE in life, you just sometimes have to roll with it. This is one of those times, because it for his dad. So just roll with it.
