and why? o, & when i say things you cant control, i mean gender, race, ect.

this isnt some religious question, so please leave God out of it. i just need your opinion and why you feel that way.

It's determined by both. Kinda like a guy looking for a job. He gets his hair cut, suit cleaned, researched the company a bit and has a good resume, all choices he made. But he can't control the mind of the interviewer.
No matter what kind of choices he makes, he'll never control the other guys mind. But by making good choices he can increase his chances.
I don't think race or gender are really much of a factor. It's more in making the right choices for oneself. And that should bring the happiness.

Not by both of them.
But by true knowledge of his destiny and his true self.
To become a king is not a true success; and true happiness is the attainment of the perfections of a human being.
To realize this divine destiny, man has to learn from the Holy Books of the Messengers of God.

One does not have anything to do with the other. In God alone, we have happiness and success. You may not see success as I see it and vice versa. God is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. In Him alone do we have peace. May God Bless

I definitely think by things beyond our control like even looks, personality, money, etc. But i think we can still be happy by choosing our attitude.

REAL happiness can only come from within, not without.
And success is being able to be REALLY happy.
