I am not sure of the exact amount of radiation, but I believe it is not any more than what one would get during a dental x-ray. I work with these machines everyday and they are not near as dangerous as most people think that they are. I am sure that the baby is fine but the poor screener that experienced that will be shaken for several days. We all hate to have anything happen to "any" of our passengers, especially children. I know that you can write to TSA by going to the TSA website at tsa.gov and ask the exact amount of radiation exposure.
