I personally thought it was a little disappointing but altogether, it was awesome! I went and saw it with my friends, and they had the same opinion.

The movie was not the book. Most people went in thinking that the movie would mimic the book page for page.
If you look at the running time of this movie you would have seen that it's only 104 minutes long which should have hinted to you that it may not be up to par in comparison with the book.
In order to do this movie by the book it would have to have been at least 168+ minutes.
The movie ticked of just about 93 percent of those would read the book. However the movie also was liked by over 87 percent that have not read the book.
Is it a good movie? That's in the eye of the beholder.

I don't even care to see it. Saw Charlotte's Web instead. That is a sweet movie. Charlotte is a little creepy tho.
