i think of the traditional situations of existence are the place you ought to locate it. Say I meditate in a dimly lit room, with a candle, for 0.5 an hour, telephones off, no noise, a guy made silence carved out of my existence. I fel non violent. yet then I ought to pass out into the international of jangling telephones, site visitors jams, horns honking. people chattering, information and tv proclaims, and all of it is going away. no longer superb, is it. / The silence is inner. it quite is got here upon at the same time as washing the dishes or dusting the fixtures.

Not me. I must sleep with silence at night. However when taking a nap at daytime a little background noise is fine....same thing with napping on a plane. However I must have silence at night.

Absolutely...otherwise I'm in my head way too much. And if there's no music; then a fan or the air conditioning turned up high. Anything to break the scilence.

The quieter it is the more my ears ring, I guess it's cause they're searching for sound. It drives me crazy and I have to either play music or start playing one in my head.

Nope. I like silence. I like white noise, don't need music or background noise.
