Either G.W. Bush or Saddam Hussein (since they both took place in the war issues)

of the 20th century...too many to name...for example:
Bill Gates (I mean come on, EVERYONE has heard of microsoft)
The hundreds of men and women who have advanced science and engineering...we have changed SO much in the last 106 years, more so in some ways than any other time.
Roosevelt (either one)-the war, human rights, women's rights, etc
J.F. Kennedy-death of a popular president shocked the world
Adolf Hitler-WW2 (enough said)
I could go on...I think it all depends on what you consider important to human kind

hmmmmmm - For the 21st century, what about Oprah or Dr. Phil. Both are making a huge impact on the mores of the public - guiding thinking and encouraging better moral principles and standards. Kudos to each and both of them.

For the 20th century - there are so many it's hard to narrow it down. One that comes to mind is Terry Fox. An amazing athlete who lost one leg to cancer. He was the very first to do a marathon - a Marathon of Hope. He attempted to run from one coast of Canada to the other although he had only one leg. He made it a very long way, and finally succumbed to his disease before he finished. A truly great young man and a shining beacon of hope and courage.

You are the most important person and yet may not be popular to this day of the 21st century.
Everything you do or planning to do will have an effect on yourself or others. Although your actions may be insignificant in the eyes of others, but it will result in a chain effect of consequences affecting those around you.
Yes, in my opinion. You or rather everyone is the most important person in their own rights.

Parents, teachers, child care workers, and anyone who mentors to young children. Our young children are our future. We owe it to them to set the best examples and teach them the best ethics and morality we can teach them. And a lot of that teaching comes in the form of example. So, adults(me included), act the way you want your kids to act.
