The war in Iraq, and the devastation -(a dying goat- dead soldiers, a star of David cut in half,-broken families and war between the Moslems and Jews. ) -it brings about, with no winners to date.( king without a crown and a throne spinning ) falling flag flashes by(symbolically- the American flag). We are in a war where we don't belong and unnecessarily losing a lot of young lives.

here let me take a shot at this .. first off you don't say how old you are so I'll guess a man of 20 or 30 perhaps.. OK ya ready ? just a guess mind you .. you've realized your a man now and there is no turning back to childhood perhaps your facing a new relationship you are unsure of ( a king without a kingdom) also perhaps when you were a child you were used by some as a "scape goat" maybe you have had to stand up for your self lately in work or relationships and no long will be that goat so it is dying in your dream. maybe you re Jewish and only partially believe .. you re coming into your own belief of what your spiritual path will be. maybe your family set you on a pedestal and you had no idea what to do ( if you are Jewish and the first born the family tends to do that - hence the throne) lastly families have a coat of arms or their own family flag.. it sounds to me as if you have just come into who you are about to become in life... keep watching that dream.. hey I'd like to know how it turns out myself now. :)

I will give this a try (it is only a possibility). The king could be Satan, the ruler of the darkness of this age [1]. The dying goat could be a sacrifice for sin. The natural choice would be Jesus Christ. [2] The Star of David, or Shield of David, would be the symbol of the nation of Israel. At the time of the death of Jesus Christ, that would have been the Temple in Jerusalem. The curtain in that temple was wrent completely at the time of the death of Christ [3]. (I do not believe that your dream states any bad thing about Israel at all. If you take it that way, it will be another writer's opinion, and certainly not mine! Remember that Jesus Christ is also a Jew.) As Christ died for the sins of the world, He fulfilled the law, and the penalty of death which mankind had earned for sins was cancelled, to those who are willing to have it cancelled. Thus, Satan's dominion is at an end for them- and for the earth itself, the end of Satan's rule is short, as a consequence of that sacrifice [4 ]. Thus, his throne is spinning out of control. At this season where many people remember the birth of Jesus Christ, if my conjecture about your recurrent dream is true, then you are being told to remember and be aware of His death.
You ask, "Any ideas?". Here is one: If my conjecture is indeed correct, then God is calling you, and speaking to you very clearly about His son, and your need to accept His sacrifice for your sins now. Speak to Him and ask Him to forgive your errors, show you what they are (I do not presume to have any idea, except that "all have fallen short of the Glory of God" [5]). Then, ask Him to be Lord of your life. read the Book of Romans, Chapters 1-8, for further clarification, as well as John 3:16, and the other scriptures listed below. If I am correct, you will not have this dream again after you receive Him (or if you are dreaming this and you are already saved, then you are to share it with someone else). If it doesn't work, then perhaps my conjecture is incorrect. I am only a person, and only you, in prayer before God, will know for sure.

My guess? The fall of religion or Major changes in beliefs. The fall of the devil/mans fear. The fall of the old order the way of governments and policy. And a king needing to be crowned or the coming of a new age. Really simple.

Goat - ability (or lack of) to digest something
King
In African folklore, the King is said to be "the one who holds all life, human and cosmic, in his hands; the keystone of society and the universe." In the modern world, we may not associate the King with ultimate power, knowledge or wisdom. However, historically the mythical King was highly spiritual, was the center of the wheel of life and was said to have a regulatory function in the cosmos. Psychologically, the king and the queen are said to be the "archetypes of human perfection." As a dream symbol, you can understand the king or queen in your dream by realizing that they represent your ability for independence, self-understanding and self-determination. They also represent inner wealth that will enable you to be your best and help.
