Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Opus 30. This piece has more notes per second than any other concerto, is fearfully fast and full of big fat chords. The physical effort of playing this is compared to shoveling ten tons of coal! If you want an idea of how this piece sounds, watch the movie "Shine" with Geoffrey Rush.

Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30 by Sergei Rachmaninoff is one of the most challenging piano pieces in the world, and has a reputation for being one of the most difficult.

Good luck if you try to attempt that one.

there's a commonplace record of products that are noted as among the main confusing products for piano. (This has been asked many circumstances). Nemesis is actual... it quite is the subsequent one which you would be able to no longer play. To be trustworthy - there is quite no standards via which to decide. take a seem on the recordings via the super-virtuosos like Hamelin, Volodos, Pollini,et al. you will see that they often play works like: Ravel's "Gaspard de l. a. Nuit." Balakirev's "Islamey." Stravinsky's "3 products from Petroushka." Liszt's "memories of Don Juan." Godowsky's "examine on Chopin's Etudes." All murderously confusing... yet how might an insignificant mortal p.c.. one as "the main confusing." they are all impossible to all yet an fairly few stay overall performance pianists. So i think they may be the only ones to have a valid opinion - I surely am no longer qualified to assert.
