They are just as effective as the other pills on the market. You only get 4 periods a year, that is a pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

I have tried tons of form of birth control, patch, depo, and pill. I found the problem with most pills is weight gain, hormonal problems(causes mood swings), this may be by personal choice but I chose the IUD. No pills, no hormones, you don't have to remember to take it, they have them that last 5-10 years. You can have it taken out anytime, and get pregnant when you are ready. It's prooven to be safe, and one of the most effecitve methods of birth control!

The most common complaint is spotting. You have to give it at least 3 months before you give up on it.
