If I have a really bad cold, I'll take NyQuil, but I always have the weirdest dreams when I take it.
For chest congestion, I like Vicks VapoRub, or Tiger Balm. Tiger Balm is a bit hotter, and it's waxier. Vicks is more like vasoline.
For nasal congestion, I like Loratadine, the generic for Clariten. It doesn't make me jumpy.
The worst are Contacts. They're worse than having a cold.

Anything that tastes like grape...it takes me back to childhood.
Otherwise, I just take a tylenol (which can be used for the common cold).

NyQuil!...It's the only thing that will help me when i have a bad cold. It knocks you out too..

Nyquil, works for me excelent. I have no problem sleeping at night.

DayQuil is the best b/c it keeps you awake during the day, and then i take robitussin at night

Nyquill. All the way. It has Vicks and it soothes away your temporary misery. (At least for me.)

i like nyquil.. mainly cause i can get to sleep quick and not have to deal with my cold... i had a horrible on a few days ago... hope you feel better soon!
