What are those bright color white headlights called?

It means that the car has a way to send engine power to both the front and rear tires. There are different methods, the most common of which uses a transfer case.

There is misconception of all four tires having power, which only may be true. A car's drive axle has a differential, which allows for one tire to rotate faster than the other, so that you can take turns without breaking (losing) traction. This means that in most four wheel drive vehicles if you are stuck, only one wheel one each axle will be spinning, and the others won't be moving.

4 wheel drive means that all four wheels are driven by the engine as opposed to front wheel drive or real wheel drive where the engine only drives the front or the back wheels.

The lights you're talking about are High Intensity Discharge (or HID) Xenon lamps.

Four Wheel drive means all four wheels are motorized, and that gives you better traction in extreme conditions, and the bright white lights are called halogen lights.

with 4 wheel drive all four wheels are moving at the same speed and so the car can't handle curves as well as when you have all wheel drive. with all wheel drive, the car makes the wheels turn at different speeds
