The full moon at the south end of the San Francisco bay while I was on a mountain top at the north end looking at the reflection of the moon in the water. It looked gorgeous. I'll never forget it. And that was over half my lifetime ago.

A winter sunrise in North Dakota. Before the sun cleared the horizon, there was a shaft of pure gold straight up in the sky.

A rainbow I saw in Oregon. It was so defined it looked like neon.

Sorry, it's a tie

Three little girls I saw in New York who were looking at a memorial for the Twin Towers. There was one craning over her buggy to see, another standing there looking curiously at the pictures, and another looking up at a note someone had written on the wall. I guess it wasn't pretty, but it was really cute, and sweet.

I watch the sunrise from my apartment window every morning. The horizon lays softly behind the lake. It's really something else. =)
