Them= my parents.

I know it seems kinda mean + selfish but I dunno I guess I'm just not good at dropping grudges. When I was little I spent like a whole month making them a little clay houndog and when they finally got it they didnt say thank you which I didn't really care.. but then acouple days after christmas I found it brocken and squished! wtf! How mean they should have at least tried not to break it

anyway.. I guess I should get over it

what should I get them?

I think they where very rude people it's not the gift that counts it's the love that was felt to give them a gift i think you should give them a NEW clay houndog ...

This sort of thing happened to me when I was little. I made a wooden bear ornament, and after Christmas found that my ornament hadn't been removed from the tree and was burned in the burn pile. I was so heart-broken!

Try to drop the grudge, though, because it's not hurting anyone other than yourself. This year I would get them some store-bought goodies, that way you know they would get used (eaten)!

Merry Christmas!

I always held a grudge too, and then I realized the only person hurt by it is me. I still struggle with it, but there's such a relief and freedom in letting go of those negativities that hold us back.

Get them something thoughtful, like movie tickets or something that they like. And if they don't appreciate it...realize the problem is them, not you and don't let it hold you back.

Yes. Yes you should. Listen to the little voice inside yourself that wants you to forgive them.

Also, talk to them about it. Maybe they remember and regret it...or maybe they have a funny story about how it fell while they were moving furniture or something...and it wasn't on purpose.

A nerf ball. Let's see them squash that. ;^). If you want to get them something go ahead. If they don't appreciate the gift well maybe you get them just a card in the future.

get over it. just don't buy them something that is fragile. your dad would probably like a nice cologne brand, and buy your mom a nice candle set with 24 kt. gold painted on the bottle.
