There were some great Ameican heros like John Wayne, who never put on a uniform other than to make movies & money. The US had a great agent aka Hollywood. On D-Day Canada's goal was Juno Beach which they took and secured before any other allies. The allies knew Dieppe was hopeless so Eisenhaurer & Mountbatten ordered the Canadians in, as they did not want to answer to their superiors. In WW1, after repeated attempts by the French & Brits to take Vimy, it fell to the Canadians. This was really the 1st action by Canadians with their own officer's and they did the job. Google it yourself. The main difference is Canadians do what has to be done and carry on with their lives. American's, on the other hand never get tired of running their mouths and patting themselves on the backs. Thankfully, Russia had already softened the Nazies when the US decided which side to come in on, It was a lot easier to invade and ultimately defeat the axis powers. I,m glad FDR was pres. at the time or It might have been entirely different.

American culture likes to boast about their victories in battle. Canada is very modest about their actions in war, regardless of how beneficial or even heroic they may have been to the coalition.
Yes the Canadian accomplishments are over shadowed. Canadians know our history and are proud of the troops that fought and are fighting, however we advertise that we are a warring nation.

canada has been involved in both wars, and unlike the americans they were in it from the start, not waiting to see who is the likely winner, canada produced some of the best soldiers and won many medals for their achievements,at the d/day landing they were an intricate part of it,as soldiers they were far superior to the americans as they were trained the same way as the british, canadian history is to be applauded.

Yes, mainly because Americans tended to send more troops and win battles on their own. No offense, I do love Canada and have family there, but the big moment that Canada plays a role in in WWII is getting pounded at Dieppe. The ROM in Ottawa did have some great stuff on the Canadian roles in various wars, but overall, American military success far outstrips that of Canada, simply due to the sheer size and magnitude of US forces and battle plans.

Chris Benoit LOL JK JK! For me its Jeff Hardy. for my area, i think of Jeff Hardy is one heck of an entertainer. i've got been on the wrestling section religiously for like a year now, and in the past I got here right here, i presumed everybody enjoyed Hardy. I mean, he did loopy issues interior the hoop that no longer many people ought to do. I figured everybody who watched him felt like I did and replaced into in awe of him, yet once I got here to the wrestling section, it shocked me that he has maximum of haters. many of the time whilst people communicate approximately Hardy, all they develop is his own existence and how he's a druggie. i think of people get too caught up in his own and forget approximately that it wasn't basically area who helped make the TLC tournament grow to be admired, Jeff Hardy additionally did. He did loopy issues in those suits and MITB suits that no-one else does. Its a shame that on each and every occasion Jeff Hardy's call is reported, certainly everybody can say is "he belongs in reformatory" or "he did no longer deserve those titles" or "he needs to end utilising drugs". Jeff Hardy IMO is a huge expertise that gets neglected through drug subjects he's had. i've got not watched wrestling that long so he's relatively the only guy i will think of of.
