Where does she get off saying money is being wasted looking for the lost climbers on Mt Hood? Besides the fact that practically every "fact" she cited is wrong, why is this any of her business? Why does she feel that she has to open her big mouth to comment on every little thing she has no idea about?
And WOW, could she possibly be more insensitive to these families who just found out their loved one is dead, or about to be left for dead? Do you really have to voice every idiotic, heartless thought that flits through your head on national TV?
Is anyone else disgusted and infuriated by this? Why do they keep giving her shows?

I have always felt disgust whenever Rosie opens her big, insensitive mouth. I have never been a consistent fan of The View, but I will never watch it again as long as she is on it. I haven't heard about her triad concerning the lost hikers, and I really hate to hear that she could inflict more pain on families already paralyzed with hurt and fear. She is a total jerk.

My personal opinion on Rosie O'Donnell is she a heartless, opinionated, racist you know what. Unless you are personally gay you are not safe from the big offensive mouth of Rosie O'Donnell. And I am not just referring to this particular time. But oh I don't know, the past years worth of her opening her mouth. She has to have a negative thing to say about everything and everyone these days. She must have very low esteem to be always on the defense.
Examples-The Mt Hood search
-Attacking Trump for giving Miss USA a 2nd chance
-Attacking Kelly Ripa for not wanting Clay Aiken to put his hands on her mouth
-Attacking Danny DeVito's appearance on The View and at the same insulting the Chinese/Americans
-Compared radical Christians and radical Muslims

I have to admit I was already to tear into Rosie O'Donnell because I do not like her at all but after reading the article referenced. It was a little unfair to take just a "snip-it" of what was said out of context. I don't believe that she was saying that they were not worth the search just the amount of money was a lot for 3 people when you think of all the other devastation's the country has had that affected thousands.
For the record (again) I do not like Rosie so please don't come after me. I agree with the other comments that it's ratings and so forth.

This is typical.... These stars like Rosie, Oprah, Dr. Phil, etc. etc. get big egos & start mouthing off & the American public is stupid enough to "think" they know what they are talking about & that what they say is correct.
I don't listen to ANY of them because they are nothing loud mouth know-it-all talking out their a$$e$.

She likes to p*ss people off, and the controversy she causes just gets networks more ratings, that's why she keeps coming back. It's too bad that they can't give that position to an actual journalist or at least someone who only spews facts not bullsh*t!

she is ignorant and has a large ego. they do say crule stuff liek that just to get publicity though/ they shoudl have never hired her for the show... all i hear is crap. i feel sorry for all of the families though=( i wish them the best.
who cares if it costs alot of money(even thogh its really not). you cant put a price on a life you would save if you never started to look fro them in the first place.
