Indian wickets are flat but Indian spinners and for that matter all the spinners love bowling on Indian (or say Indian sub-continent) pitches. Warne has performed well against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, but he gets the stick in India. So it has something to do with the flair of Indian batsmen for Warne. Somehow, Warne too dread Indian batsmen on Indian pitches.
But Warne is a great bowler and has the ability to induce spin on any surface.
Record against (At home and away):
India: 14 matches 43 wkts av. 47.16
Pak: 15 matches 90 wkts av. 20.17
SL: 13 matches 59 wkts av. 25.54

Lets not talk about the flat tracks of India..afterall its there where all the Indian spinners perform so well. Its becoz of the ability of Indian Batsmen to play spin, just like the South Africans are well adapted to play fast bowling. Moreover he has bowled at times when some batsmen like Sachin and Laxman were in supreme touch. Having Siddhu who thought "spinners are not bowler" also wouldnt have helped

But i think indian batting line is always been strong, and they might be are good enough to play Warne with ease.
