About a year ago, when I would go out to eat by myself or with friends, as soon as we would get to the restaurant I would feel sick and quesy and maybe even get sick. I was just wondering why that used to happen to me.. kind of weird. Or is it just a psychological thing?

That happened to me when I was pregnant - which I'm sure you're not. Perhaps you had a biological/hormonal imbalance which has resolved itself.

It could also, like you say, have been brought on by subconscious anxiety over eating: eating in front of strangers, eating in strange places etc.

Its great that it has resolved itself - so move on!

When I was a child I would do that every time my family planned a visit to the mountains when it snowed...I believe it was sheer terror, although I had never been in snow and wasn't until I was 29 yrs old...now I live in it and I HATE IT, so it was maybe a premonition
