Great Rides: Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Beer Drinkers and Hellraisers by ZZ Top, In My Dreams by Dokken.

The style of music you play and the audience you are playing for are the two big variables here.
If you play electric fusion jazz for a classical audience, you will sink like a lead doughnut. If you tear it up with some country rock for a hip-hop audience, you may be lucky to escape with your life.
You say you can handle "most songs". That is a TALL claim!
Here are a couple examples of guitar standards that you may find challenging, and which are huge crowdpleasers:

Play songs your friends know ... they'll be impressed with your talent! Everybody eventually tries "Stairway to Heaven" and they come off looking and sounding like idiots. Unless you're a good musician, you're not going to sound or play anything remotely similar to Jimmy Page, and nobody sings like Robert Plant!

Simon and Garfunkel songs because of the fact the objective industry will understand them and that they are folky. Their songs are slightly pop-like yet they are significant and that they seem to be a making a music duo with great harmonies.
