Better than Texas, because Ohio State has multiple weapons.

Not better than USC, becuase Leinart and Bush were literally unstoppable.

All these people are caught up in the hype

Ohio State was just as good as those teams this year and last year
fa real
Last year Ohio State actually should have beaten texas
YES remember Troy smith didn't play half the game and they still almost won 25-22
I guess I'm the only one that saw that game
but yea Ohio State was by far the best defense Texas played (2 years in a row I guess) last year texas scored 40+ in all there games except Ohio State
Thats why I was upset when vince went to the pros
I knew OSU would shut UT down with out vince

last year USC didn't play anybody with a good D except texas
and look what happened
ND should have beat them remember and look wat OSU did to ND in the bowl game

Texas blows and the refs blew that game even more, Young's knee was obviously down on that touchdown play, and they even reviewed it and still didnt over turn it, wow, thats all I have to say, Ohio state is much better than texas because Smith is at least almost as good as Young and hes surrounded by alot more weapons, USC however had equal if not better weapons than this Ohio team has, because they had White and Bush, who are miles above Ohio States backs, and the receiving corps are about even.

I am a Texas fan so I think last years Texas team was awesome but I haven't been paying much attention to college football this year so I can't answer the question.
I just wanted to say something about the first response...
If Leinart and Bush were "literally unstoppable" how did they lose the championship?
Just wanted to get that out.

Ok, being a student at MSU, i hate all three schools but... the answer is no. First of all, to all you tards who are saying that last years Trojans were better than the Horns, Texas won, you are stupid. Now this years Bucks may have multiple weapons and a lot of talent all over the field, but Vince Young by himself was unstopable. HE beat USC and HE beat UM the year before. It didn't matter who was with him, he ran the offensive skill positions by himself. It was him and the o-line. The OSU D. of this year would not be able to slow him down, as they failed to last year when they were even better. So to answer your question, Texas already beat USC, and would beat this years bucks, and this years buck would beat last years trojans.

Just as good as Texas considering the teams split and beat each other on the opposing team's turf.

They are not a good as USC who should have punted on 4th down and made Texas drive the entire field instead of giving Vince a short field.

Oh well. Live and learn.

No where near
USC and Texas were both unstoppable legend worthy teams
Texas - obviously they were the champs
USC - think about it Reggie Bush, Dwayne Jarrett, and Matt Leinart
I'd take Texas and USC from last year over Ohio State any day

yep... born and raised in ohio and i dont like to be arrogant but i think so. smith is a great leader and has great receivers in gonzalez, ginn, hartline, rowbiski the d is very good even with all the young players. lauranitus is better than a.j. i think a.j. wasnt showing this much promise as sophmore. cant wait for the championship should be a great game i need the buckeyes since im a browns fan and i need some balance haha. Go Buckeyes!!

not even close, USC was and could possibly still be, depending on next years results, a dynasty(one year out of the national title game isnt a downfall, hell they are in the rose bowl). texas was great, but OSU(and no offense to them) is not that same calibur of team.

GO GATORS
