Hormones can do crazy things to people, especially females. If that's what it is, it will pass. Or it could be a chemical imbalance, for which you would need medication.
Or maybe it's self preservation. Sometimes we feel dead or numb inside because emotionally we can't afford to feel anything. We don't want to hurt. If that's the case, maybe you need to move on and get away from your situation because you need to live your life, not just go through the motions.
Or if something happened that has cause depression you may need counselling.
If these feelings don't go away soon, you need to do something about it. Life can be so good, and it should be. So don't let it pass you by. ;-)

It sounds to me like you are depressed. You can be in a state of depression and not even know it. You have to force yourself to do the things you normally do. Do you cry or get angry with people for no reason? Do you want to be alone some days ? All these can be depression. Please check with your doctor as life is too short to go through being miserable. Good luck to you.

I don't want to sound harsh or disrespectful...but your words sound more like something from a soap opera or something on television. Sadly, we are innundated with images of pathetic women who are suffering from depression and low self esteem. It seems to be fashionable to have 'issues' these days. Many young girls create these issues and situations in order to get attention from parents or men. Come on girls...we are the stronger sex! We are the ones who are responsible for populating the planet - nurturing our next generation! Step up...stop living inside your head...get on with your life...surround yourself with good and positive people.

Whatever is going on in your life is no longer sustaining you on a challenging level. It has now become more of a chore than a desire. How do you change it? Find something to challenge your intellect and partake of it.
