Alan Lightman writes, "In this world time is a visible dimension. Just as one may look off in the distance and see houses, trees, mountain peaks that are landmarks in space, so one may look out in another direction and see births, marriages, deaths that are signposts in time, stretching off dimly into the far future." It does not take much of another stretch to attach godhead to such a vision?to whom is it referring to & more importantly why? hint: yes that person is my heroe!!!!!

Nonsense. You can only visualize things in the future, or in the past, for that matter. You cannot actually see them.

If you refer to God, yes, he can move forward and backward in time. But He is not a solid, temporal being. He is a spirit- what the sceintists would call, "pure energy."

You're right! I'm not even going to try! I didn't look at the words after "i bet you'll never figure this out?". Now why don't you go back to school and learn how to ask a proper question.

I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with geography...but it's interesting! lol
Hmmm... Is it a figure of speech, or an actuallity? Is the person this quote is referring to actually able to see mystical things, or are they perhaps reading of something?
And is this person still alive? If so, what role in our society/lives does he/she play?

I'm going to guess Jesus. I also disagree with what krazykyngekorny he said God what only a "spirit" when in actuallity God is a trinity (Father, Son, Holy Gost). Jesus, the son, was an actual person like you and me.
