Yea when I was young I used to think I had to stay around my friends or it was going to be the end of the world. But then everyone went to different colleges, people move away for different jobs, competition and jealousy set in, and you learn to rely on yourself instead of relying on other people to define you.

Its all part of growing up...At 34 years old looking back, the one thing I would have regretted is to turn down a good life long opportunity just so I could chum around another year with the old people in my neighborhood. A lot of those so called "friends' dont really stick by you when the chips are down anyway. I would do whatever it is you want to do.

This is one of life's lessons. You cannot control other people and sometimes you lose touch. It happens.
