Well, if there is extra-terrestrial life, they're probably just microscopic things like bacteria.

Either way, it's possible. Some planets/moons are quite similar to Earth, and even things from Earth can probably live there.

I doubt that any of the extra-terrestrial life would have the humanoid look.

MAYBE, Earth could be the only place with living cells. Maybe cells were invented on Earth. Don't forget that a cell is the basic unit of life.

Ha! Kilometers, are you kidding me? It's light years away.

It can be small organisms that can start life (like on Earth), or intelligent or sapient (judging) beings.

And they used a large radio (whatever that is), in Arecibo Puerto Rico to communicate with extra-terrestrial life. But it will take 52,000 years until a reply would be received, but it was still made.
