If you have an internal, probably. A pregnant woman's cervix looks different (It's bluish). If you're far enough along, your doc will be able to feel the growth of your womb when he/she palpates your abdomen. You'll pee in a cup for them, too. It would be very simple to ask for a pregnancy test. If you have any bloodwork, it will be found there as well.

If they're not looking for it, they might not catch it. I went in for my normal yearly when I was about 4-5 weeks along with my first one. I was young and had no idea I was pregnant. He wrote me a prescription for Ortho Novum and I waited and waited to start so I could start taking the pills. Needless to say, I never got that prescription filled and still have it to this day! LOL

It is possible. I went in for a yearly exam and mine said, "could you be pregnant? I think you are about 3 months" (I had not missed a menstraul cycle either). After doing a pregnancy test it confirmed i was pregnant.

It depends on how far along you would be. The opening and length of your cervix will show pregnancy along with the size of your uterus. If you are only a couple of weeks it would be a little more difficult.

They always do a pregnancy test. If you mean by an examination then I would imagine that you would have to be further along.

It is likely that they would be able to tell by whether or not your cervix was firm or soft. During a pregnancy your cervix will become soft.

usually they can. Your anatomy changes once you are pregnant, makingit easier for the Doc to tell your pregnant, and even how far along you are.
