You have a choice of getting dropped into Algeria, the Sudan, or North Korea. Pick your spot and tell how you would get out of the place and reach your home. No money, no cell phone, no map, and all alone.

North Korea. The jungle suits me for hiding. I'd fight when I'd have to. I would just head south till I got to a boarder. Along the way I would hopefully acquire a weapon. It would take a good long while, though.
