If he gets a job with eventually benefits, then I could save about $700 dollars a month. It is hard to have a budget all fixed up for the new year and he seems to be unable to find a job. It is ruining my plan. AWWWWW anyway happy holidays. Thanks in advance.

Make two budgets. One to go by when your hubby doesn't have a job, and a different budget for when he has a job.

My ex chose not to find and keep jobs. Now that the working adjective in my life is ex I have been able to keep an excellent budget. Hopefully your situation is nothing of the sort. Good luck and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family!

This is what I've done and I hope it helps...
Set everything up in excel or on paper week by week (or however you are paid)...your income only and the expenses that go out in the same time frame. Pay as needed, save for weeks (and sometimes months) ahead as needed (don't forget holidays and birthdays in the budget) and STICK TO IT!!! If you stick to it, it works (I've varied and gotten myself in trouble here). Depend only on the funds that you have available and if there is more (ie: his income) your life is easier and less stressed; but take my word for it and don't depend on what isn't there.
Good luck and blessings!
