okay like in the 1980's kids (teens) could walk to school alone go to the mall by themselves without their parents but now in the year 2007 its too unsafe like i CANT even be in the street by myself because of the pervs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this sucks

It does suck and i feel so so sorry for this new generation. Lots of sorry SOB's out there ready to harm or kill. Its all due to drugs and greediness. But look on this side of coin its better to be safe than have your family looking at a coffin of you inside and mooring your death. I wish there was something that us older gender could do to help you. Just one thing might help. But for now just be a good kid and stay alive. Alive is the key word now days. Good luck to you. By the way i am 54 and feel so sorry for you.Breaks my heart.

yep, the times they are a changin. i can remember trick or treating for hours and riding my bike for miles. we could go out to play at 12:00 noon and not come home til dinner. all of this without a cell phone. how did we survive? don't get me wrong, there were bad guys out there but they weren't EVERYWHERE. wish my kids could know the same kind of childhood.
