My dad is trying to get my little sister a chrismas present but doesnt know if he should buy a PSP or a DS. PLZ help us

Well how old is your little sister? If she is under 12 I would say get her a DS. A DS is a Nintendo game system and as everybody knows Nintendo has more games based for younger kids. There are games like Mario, Yoshi's island, nintendogs, stuff like that. I'm sure your little sis would like a DS if( as I said before) is under 12 years old. But if she is over 12 then I would say a PSP.

The PSP is basically the thing that the big boys play (medophorically speaking.) That has all the Teen stuff. It depends on how old your sister is. I'd say that if she's 5-8, get the DS. Anything older, then PSP.
It's basically what your sister wants: if your sister is into shooters and puzzle games, get PSP. If she's into Mario, WarioWare or anything having to do with Nintendo, DS is up your ally.

If You Are Comparing Both Then I would suggest PSP as Best Console For Games.
In DS You can not browse web but in PSP you can. You can watch videos, download games trailers, download music and everything you want to download. You can play youtube on PSP not in DS
The Audio And Video Functions Are Much Better Than DS. You Can Control Audio Functions And Video can be played in 1080p. As Far Games Are Concerned PSP Have Games For All Ages.

Sony PSP or DS Lite - Which one ?
Yes I know this must have come to your mind once before deciding to buy PSP or DS Lite. Here is my take on this.
Sony PS2 gamers will like to buy PSP straight away so no contradictions on that one. However let us compare the two a little.
PSP widely successful and has a strong hold in India also. Can play UMD movies, can add storage capacity through memory card, can store photos, songs, clips, games, etc. Lot of support available on net for PSP.
DS Lite is a new product. DS did well and DS Lite is doing better. In Japan DS Lite is actually selling more than PSP. People who loved or still love to play cute games like Mario should buy DS Lite because if you want plain simple clean fun then DS Lite is best.
PSP games and DS games cost round about the same. I am talking of only original games here. One advantage of DS Lite is that it can play inexpensive Gameboy games which are fun to play at times.
If I were to choose between the two I would go for DS Lite. I know some would not agree with my choice but it is my opinion entirely.

Well..psp is more advantced and can do alot of things and has internet capabilities and also can be used as an ipod to download and listen to music and you can also put pictures and create slide shows also watch movies, and also the games are more like real games and has alot better grafics than the ps2, and on the other hand the DS has just a couple of puzzle games which is basically no fun- and the battery charge on the DS last for 4 hours when the psp charge last for 6 hours

I had a PSP and traded it in for a DS. The movies are nice on the PSP but the DS is just original. The whole pen thing just give it something you cant really get anywhere else

psp can do many things there really great but ds are mainly about having fun with games nd less expensive so if your sisters younger nd juss wants to play games the ds is betta but if shes a lil older like maybe 12,13 at least then the psp is probably better because it can be used for so many things including gaming... hope this helps

If she is older than 12 get a psp because those are for older kids and have the most games for older but if she is younger than 12 get her a ds because those are for younger kids and have mostly only games for younger kids. Good luck.

PSP destroys DS.. DS is garbage.. cant play as much music or vids.. game quality sucks.. plus less cool games.
