Hello I'm 5'4 (I'm 19 years old) and almost everybody is taller than me. I have friends but they are not a lot. Tall people have a lot of friends, they get more girlfriends, and they get more attention. Is society that cruel, I'm not complaining, but I always wanted to know why. I think I work harder for the things I want than most tall people so why are thery so above me?

I meand I didn't ask to be short, but yet again I love myself and wouldn't change myself for no one. I'm very charismatic and smart. I used to be depressed back then because of low self-esteem, but I'm aight now, and yeah I'm good looking too so I'm not that screwed. lol

Society is a cruel place and they place looks above anything. Tall people are considered the best as in the best athletes. Everyone in society likes to LOOK up to a tall person cause they think well this man is tall they are smart and intelligent. WRONG! They are just like us as in shorter people . They still pull their pants up the same way and use the toilet the same way .. have to eat , sleep . But also short people do the same . You can have just as many friends or more even though you are short. no pun intend ted "dont sell yourself short". Quit making comparisons to tall and short and just act yourself. Those taller persons are NO better than you are. The sooner you realize this the sooner you will see that you are just or more better than they are. You are a loving, breathing human and I challenge you that you can beat this thing about taller better thing. I'm an inch shorter than you and i have lots of friends but older.LOL With age come experience and man you dont have a thing to worry your pretty mind with.You just be yourself not anything less and you will come shining through. because you have low self esteem and let them. That is all in your head. You are just as good as someone 6'9" it's rubbish that you think like that. Also, you're only 19, you're not done growing yet.
Have a bigger personality, and the friends and girs will come! good luck dude

I'm really tall and I think it's just your prospective. It's hard to be tall sometimes and trust me, it's a whole lot easier to date someone thats taller than you then shorter.

This is silly . Tall , Short who cares .

i'm wondering too..even me also admire to them too..i dont know why but since maybe i'm the too short so it is good to see if my partner taller than me but not too tall..i might consider about this..

Maybe if you were more confident it wouldnt seem that way. I know a lot of short guys that hit it off well with girls.
