Tranny is slang, as is shemale for a person who is undergoing a sex change and now looks mostly like a woman, but still has the penis in place. (preoperative)
More rare are females who are transitioning to males and have much more masculine features, but still have their vagina and no created penis yet. (Again preop)
Those are most common uses of the term!
BUT! it gets more complicated than this, too.
That may be a new slang term for lesbian or bi females, but not one I am familiasr with.
