I'm trying to lose weight since having a baby 4 months ago. I've lost 47 pounds already.

I'm 5'3".
145 lbs.
38"-32"-41.5"

I want to keep my butt. HOW MUCH WEIGHT do you think is acceptable to lose. I don't want the medical "ideal weight"...I just want your opinion on how much more weight you think would be good to lose.

I do Turbo Jam (cardio) 6 days a week (most weeks) and do weight lifting 2 days a week.

Thanks for your help.

I am 5'3, and 120 and I am a size 4, I think acceptable is whatever looks good on you, I bet you look GREAT NOW.
I am a small frame, so I could lose more I think, even though every says no... but when I gain 5 or 10 pounds it shows on me, because I am small. 112 is like a BMI of 19
I would shoot for a BMI of 20,,,,,,,,, if you want to turn heads

I think that you should not worry too much about this but congratulate yourself for loosing 47 lbs in 4 months. That is a great accomplishment. Just stick to your work-out routine and eat right the body will take care of itself if you do your part.

Ask yourself, how do I look? 47lbs in 4 months is outstanding. You did not make excuses because you had a baby. Only you can determine how much you should lose. Focus on losing fat. Know your body fat percentage. Body composition is tricky, especially after having a baby. If you lose more weight make sure it is fat. You'll know you're losing fat once your mid section starts to get flat. If your abs are already flat, congratulations. Most of the weight you have lost was fat. If butts run in your family you can never lose it. Believe me, I KNOW. 5'4 123lbs. 34''- 24"- 36"

The ideal weight would be around 120 lbs. just work off 25 pounds.

Wow, congrats on your weight loss already:D If you are happy with the way you look now, I say don't let your current weight bother you. I would say, maybe 10 pounds at the most.

I'd say 10 to 15 more pounds and you'd be looking great!

generally have found avoiding answering women's questions regarding their weight is usually best way to go. I'd say stop when you feel comfortable with yourself and not worry what others think.
BTW great job with the weight loss already achieved:)
