PRACTICE.
Dont worry about "aim" (thats doing it wrong). The ball will go to the last place your brain registers through your eye, so look at your target (just a quick look will do) just as you are bringing your throw around.
Tony Gwynn was only a decent hitter, but hes going to Cooperstown. Dont worry abt smashing the ball when you hit, hit it square and hit it hard, nothing more. The appreciative coach and fan will know when you take a ball the other way down the line.
What position do you play? each fielding spot has its prerequisites.
1st- good hands, quick reflexes, stretch for that low throw.
2nd- coordination and a strong arm to turn 2nd half of DP going backwards
Short - RANGE RANGE RANGE and the arm and accuracy
3rd - gotta move FAST here, you are closest to the RHB swing. Range and an accurate arm because its the loingest to 1st from here
LF- speed, hands, and arm
CF- SPEED SPEED SPEED, you have to cover parts of LF and RF at times as backup, so u need range as well
RF - usually the power hitter's location, not usually known for speed unless the entire attack is based on it, a good arm for the tag play

for ur hitting don't think about aiming. aiming doesn't work in hand/ye coordination sports. relax when u're hitting, see the ball the whole way through without aiming. ur brain will do the calculations for u subconsciously. take a look at Derek Jeter of the NY Yankees. when he is at bat he sees the ball all the way through even if he doesn't swing. keep practicing all facets of ur game and u'll get better in no time.

Go to the batting cage and practice, practice, practice. Also, run and get yoru stamina up as much as you can. You need to be able to run sprints and show the coach you are flexible. A good attitude is everything. Remember, a good coach would rather take an excellent player who is coachable than an outstanding and perfect player who is not coachable.

Stay focused and practice hard but if you know anyone who might have played previously to help you out with your skills then that is what I would do. Just focus on what you feel is your weak points heavily but dont neglect your all around skills either.

practice it when you have some free time, hit some baseballs at a park/school, throw the ball at a wall.
